About the Director
AKGEC is firmly set to transform into one of the leading technical institutions under the brilliant leadership and competent direction of Dr. R.K. Agarwal ,       B Tech (IIT Kanpur), M.S. (CIT, Cranfield, U.K.) and Ph.D.(IISc Bangalore). During his illustrious career of nearly three decades in the IAF, he has held various key appointments including Chief Engineering Officer of an Operational Base and Director (Engg) at Air HQ. His vast managerial, administrative and academic experience includes teaching assignments at Air Force Technical College and Mechanical Training Institute in the IAF and nine years of pioneering Research & Development work on the prestigious AWACS project in DRDO. In addition to various merit awards in the IAF, he is the recipient of the coveted Royal Aeronautical Society (U.K) award for academic excellence at Cranfield Institute of Technology and a cash award by DRDO for his contribution to the design and development of Airborne Early Warning (AEW) aircraft, culminating in its maiden flight. His wide ranging experience, vision and dynamism have infused inspiration and provided the impetus needed to propel AKGEC to the zenith of excellence in all fields and activities.
